Because let’s be honest: Often we are so caught up in our hectic everyday life with appointments and work-life pressure that we forget to take time for ourselves to come down and relax!
If you regularly allow yourself just five minutes break from the everyday stress and what leads to it, this will give you enough energy to cope with it.

Because if we have too high a stress level over a longer period of time, we will harm ourselves. Too much stress can affect our physical, mental and emotional well-being and how we react and behave!

Physical symptoms:
Headaches, tension in the neck and shoulders, dizziness, tiredness and sleep disturbances can be the result of stress overload.
Mental symptoms:
Cortisol, a hormone affecting brain function, can also affect our mental state. This can lead to worrying concentration and decision-making difficulties and uncontrollable thoughts.

Ongoing stress can lead to irritability, mood swings, excessive demands, anxiety, low self-esteem and depression. A person with too high a stress level can show aggressive or defensive behaviour and find relaxation in alcohol or cigarettes.

We cannot always avoid stress, but should urgently learn to deal with it.
Practicing „relaxation“ is very important in dealing with stress: when we relax, our energy level increases and helps us to have a calmer and clearer mind. This results in positive thinking, concentration, memory and decision-making.
Relaxation slows down our heart rate, lowers our blood pressure and relieves tension. It also aids digestion, as in a relaxed state we can absorb essential nutrients more efficiently and thus fight diseases and infections.
